What is a Skid Steer Ticket?

A Skid Steer Loader (often also known as a Bobcat, which is a type of SSL) is a four-wheeled or tracked machine used to dig/jackhammer, lift and transport goods around a location, such as a construction or mining site. Skid Steer Loaders are often known as ‘bobcats’, which is a popular brand of SSL.

If you’d like to work as a Skid Steer Loader operator, you will need to be able to prove your competency to an employer , who is responsible for your safety at work.

In Australia, the best and easiest way to do this is to obtain your Statement of Attainment in RIIMPO318F – Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations. This must be completed through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) like Kallibr Training.

A Statement of Attainment is a nationally recognised qualification that will be awarded to you after you successfully complete your training course.
