- Rigging gin poles and shear legs
- Flying foxes and cableways
- Guyed derricks and structures
- Suspended scaffolds
- Fabricated hung scaffolds
Why Get Your Advanced Rigging Licence?
If you want to conduct advanced rigging activities on any work site in Australia you must have an advanced rigging licence. It is also your ticket to senior roles and better paid positions within the industry. You’ll be able to supervise highly complex rigging operations in high-risk environments like those found in the construction and mining industries in particular.
Certification and Ongoing Support
Upon successful completion of Kallibr Training’s Advanced Rigging Licence (CPCCLRG4001) course, students receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment so they can add the RA endorsement to their High Risk Work Licence. This must be done within 60 days of receiving the SoA.
High Risk Work Licences must be renewed every 5 years in Australia. Renewal within 12 months of expiry does not usually require you to complete a new course to obtain endorsements already held.
However, regular refresher courses are recommended, and even required by some companies, in order to stay current with safety regulations and best practices. Our refresher courses are designed to provide this and reinforce safe operating techniques.
