About this Swing Stage Scaffold Safety Course

Need to work safely from a suspended scaffold? This course provides the essential training for workers who are required to operate and work from swing stage scaffolds across various worksite applications.

You’ll learn how to plan and prepare for work at height, manage risks, conduct safety checks, and operate swing stage scaffolds in line with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s Scaffolding Code of Practice 2021 (Part 5.3).

This course is designed for workers using swing stage scaffolds—not those erecting or dismantling them.

Course Outline

Unit covered:

  • NAT10910001 – Use Swing Stage Scaffolds Safely

This course covers:

  • Understanding OHS and legislative responsibilities

  • Identifying job and site requirements

  • Planning and preparing for work using swing stage scaffolds

  • Conducting pre-use safety inspections

  • Operating from a swing stage scaffold

  • Performing work activities at height safely

  • Cleaning up and completing work documentation

All course participants must be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Able to read, understand, and write English
  • Able to produce and meet the evidence of identity criteria as per SafeWork / Worksafe identification requirements

Protective Personal Equipment – safety boots, high-visibility vests, and hard hats– is mandatory.

If a participant requires a reassessment for a High-Risk Work Licence an additional $250.00 + GST reassessment fee will apply.

Private courses can be arranged at any of our facilities in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, or for added convenience, we can come to you and deliver the course at your site, provided your site meets training and assessment requirements.

Learning Outcome
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and apply legal and safety requirements for swing stage scaffold use

  • Safely perform work using a suspended scaffold

  • Identify and follow work procedures and site instructions

  • Conduct routine checks and operate swing stage systems with confidence

Certification Outcome
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:

  • NAT10910001 – Use Swing Stage Scaffolds Safely

If a participant withdraws from a qualification/unit, with less than seven (7) business days notice prior to commencement, Kallibr Training reserves the right to retain the 30% administration booking fee.

No refund will be provided within two (2) business days prior to commencement. No refund will be permitted after course commencement or if a participant fails to attend on the scheduled commencement date.
