Learn how to define the scope of a hazard analysis, identify and prioritise hazards, assess risks using risk matrices, and apply effective controls in line with the hierarchy of control. Ideal for workers and supervisors, this course supports safer workplaces and WHS compliance across Australian industries.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

All course participants must be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Able to read, understand, and write English
  • Able to produce and meet the evidence of identity criteria as per SafeWork / Worksafe identification requirements
  • Have access to a computer and stable internet connection

If a participant requires a reassessment for a High-Risk Work Licence an additional $250.00 + GST reassessment fee will apply.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise and document workplace hazards
  • Conduct hazard analyses in line with workplace and WHS requirements
  • Apply appropriate control measures using the hierarchy of control
  • Complete hazard analysis reports and communicate findings
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace

Outcome
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for MSMWHS201 – Conduct Hazard Analysis.
