Course Description:
Workers engaged in asbestos removal projects covering areas smaller than 10m² or those who may encounter asbestos exposure during work activities must complete asbestos awareness training
This course covers asbestos identification, safe handling procedures, and the implementation of appropriate control measures.
Workers likely to encounter asbestos are:
- Building and construction workers
- Kitchen and bathroom renovators
- Electricians
- Plumbers
Location:
This course is fully online and self-paced. Once enrolled, students have 7 days to log in and complete the course.

Course Outcomes
Learning Outcome

Who can remove more than 10m2 of asbestos?
Before undertaking asbestos work involving more than 10 square meters of non-friable asbestos or any quantity of friable asbestos, workers are required to successfully complete the designated VET course.
