This course will provide a sound knowledge and skill base to use portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire blankets, evaluate and extinguish gas fires and to also identify potentially hazardous manual tasks and how to prepare for and complete those tasks in a safe manner.

CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment, HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely, UEGNSG203 – Evaluate and extinguish gas fire
Assessment Type:
Assessment consists of Q&A theory, practical and observations.
Prerequisite:
No pre-requisite.
