Course Outline
This course provides individuals with the skills and knowledge required to act with confidence in the case of a fire, utilising various fire extinguisher techniques including portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and fire blankets.
Students will learn to:
- – Prepare for a fire emergency
– Assess a fire and determine the best course of action
– Select the appropriate fire fighting equipment for the fire type
– Extinguish a fire using the correct firefighting technique
– Follow safety policies and procedures
– Finish fire response
– Pack up and secure the area
Location:
This course is available on request as a private course.
Private courses can be organised to accommodate your specific training requirements, such as evening sessions and shift work. They can be conducted at any of our facilities in New South Wales, Queensland, or Victoria or if preferred, we can come to you and deliver the course at your site.
