This course involves the skills and knowledge required to launch and recover pipeline inspection gauges (PIGs) in gas distribution pipelines to ensure the pipeline is clean and dry with no obstructions prior to commissioning, Commission and decommission gas distribution pipelines and also Polyethylene Squash/Squeeze off Jacks/Pliers.

Course Overview
Qualification:
K-023- Polyethylene Squash/Squeeze off Jacks/Pliers UEGNSG055- Launch and recover PIGs in a gas distribution pipeline UEGNSG205- Commission or decommission gas distribution pipelines
Assessment Type:
Assessment consists of Q&A theory, practicals and observations.
Prerequisite:
UEGNSG040- Use a portable gas detector to locate a combustible gas escape.
