About this Remove Non-Friable Asbestos Course

Need to get certified for asbestos removal? This course provides the essential skills and knowledge to safely remove non-friable (bonded) asbestos in line with current WHS regulations.

You’ll learn how to prepare the site, contain the work area, carry out safe removal, and manage clean-up and decontamination processes. A Statement of Attainment is required to legally carry out this class of asbestos removal work.

Course Outline

Unit: CPCCDE3014 – Remove Non-Friable Asbestos

This course covers:

  • Preparing the site and asbestos removal plan

  • Setting up the asbestos work area and containment

  • Safely removing non-friable asbestos materials

  • Performing decontamination procedures

  • Cleaning and restoring the work area

  • Completing documentation and regulatory processes

All course participants must be:

  • 18 years or older
  • Able to read, understand, and write English
  • Able to produce and meet the evidence of identity criteria as per SafeWork / Worksafe identification requirements

Protective Personal Equipment – safety boots, high-visibility vests, and hard hats– is mandatory.

If a participant requires a reassessment for a High-Risk Work Licence an additional $250.00 + GST reassessment fee will apply.

Private courses can be arranged at any of our facilities in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, or for added convenience, we can come to you and deliver the course at your site, provided your site meets training and assessment requirements.

Learning Outcome
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare and isolate asbestos removal areas

  • Remove and handle non-friable asbestos safely

  • Decontaminate equipment and PPE

  • Finalise the job in accordance with WHS and environmental requirements

Certification Outcome
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:

  • CPCCDE3014 – Remove Non-Friable Asbestos

    If a participant withdraws from a qualification/unit, with less than seven (7) business days notice prior to commencement, Kallibr Training reserves the right to retain the 30% administration booking fee.

    No refund will be provided within two (2) business days prior to commencement. No refund will be permitted after course commencement or if a participant fails to attend on the scheduled commencement date.
