About this Course
Course Description:
This course covers the requirements for those who are required to inspect working at heights safety equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, energy absorbers, inertia reels and carabiners as part of the requirements in AS1891.
Successfully completing this course will allow you to inspect, create registers and tag height safety equipment. This course does not cover any requirements for repairing height safety equipment.
Location:
Public courses run at Kallibr Training (RTO 32365) locations in Sydney and Brisbane.
Private training can be organised and conducted onsite if the following training and assessment requirements are met:
- Training room with tables, chairs and screen (or blank wall for a projector)

- Inspecting and testing equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and industry procedures
- Identify faulty equipment
- Quarantining of equipment
- Record keeping, including fault reporting
