About this Bulldozer Operations Course
Looking to get certified to operate a dozer? You’re in the right place.
This course is designed for workers in operational roles within the civil construction industry. It provides the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a bulldozer, including planning work, using attachments, and maintaining the machine.
You’ll be assessed on your ability to perform bulldozer operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site and WHS requirements—demonstrated across multiple scenarios.
This unit is part of a nationally recognised qualification that meets the requirements for RIIMPO323E.

This course includes both theory and practical components, covering:

Workplace health and safety responsibilities

Planning and preparing for dozer operations

Pre-start checks and machine setup

Dozer operation techniques

Using and changing attachments (if applicable)

Relocating the equipment safely

- Outcome: Statement of Attainment + a Verification of Competence VOC certificate.
- Requirements: Students must hold an old OHS certification OR have 500+ hours of operational experience.
